Cities, towns, political subdivisions and a couple of local organizations in six Southwest Louisiana parishes are beneficiaries of some of the $92.7 million in pet projects that members of the Legislature approved in their home districts. Some 600 projects are listed in House Bill 782 under the heading of "State Aid to Local Government Entities."
